The Simple Womans Daybook 1-10-11

For Today… Monday, January 10, 2011


Outside My Window… cloudy, rainy and cold 38 degrees out at the moment


I am thinking… I really need to start my daily chores and quit sitting around!


I am thankful… that none of my kids are sick and that we have a warm house!


I am remembering… my dogs that are gone i miss bugar and gustav so much :( bugar was a red min pin that got murdered by coyotes in oklahoma :( and gustav was a black and tan min pin that i got 4 years later he was a runner and got lost or picked up and no one ever returned him i miss them both so much!


I am hearing… Caleb munching on cheerios and watching Micky and kk playing with her petshops :)


I am going… to do some cleaning very soon!!


I am hoping… its not raining when its time to get the kids from school later!


On my mind… where we are going to put our garden we have a pretty big yard this year with very fertile dirt i'm pretty excited about fresh veggies!!


From the learning rooms… preschool stuff with kk and Caleb seem to be picking alot up hes so smart!


From the kitchen… Creamy basil parmesan pasta for lunch and no clue what i'm going to make for dinner yet...


One of my favorite things… mocha frappuccinos with shots of espresso :) i have not had one in weeks and really want one!


Pondering these words… if you think positive and smile you will be alot happier


A few plans for the rest of this week… drs. apt tommorw for an ultersound so very soon i will know if we are having another girl or boy so excited!! shopping on friday for grocerys and church on suday maybe at a new church..

FOR TODAY (1-26-09)

Outside my window is foggy and sunny all at the same time if that makes since ya gotta love this Florida weather

I am thinking i really need to help cody do his homework cause its almost time to take him to school!!

I am thankful for the USO cause every Monday and thursday i go there and get all kinds of yummy treats for me and my family for free!!

From the learning rooms noting new here really i am still working with Cheyenne and reading and cody with letters!

From the kitchen dinner will be a homemade lasagna and french bread and i can almost taste it already!

I am wearing my pj's still i really do need to get dressed lol!!

I am creating diapers well not really i am fixing diapers cause the elastic has pretty much went out in all of them and its actually a lot harder to do then i originally thought it would be!!

I am going to get dressed for the day soon and get lunch ready for the kids and cody ready for school!

I am reading lots of blogs and that's really about it!

I am hoping that Caleb is not getting sick cause he has been pretty fussy and not like himself today!

I am hearing the ups man knocking some clothes i ordered from the children's place are finally here i got Cheyenne a new coat and then kk a few things and Caleb a new outfit they are running some awesome sales right now!!

Around the house is a mess and probably will be forever lol

One of my favorite things are blueberry scones i tried one for the first time last week and its pretty much all i think about now hahaha

A few plans for the rest of the week: well we are suppose to get our tax money Friday so if that happens we are gonna pay our credit card off and then put ALOT on chads truck and be one step closer to debt free and we can't wait till that day comes!

Outside my window A nice cloudy cool winter day

I am thinking that i really need to quit stalling and start cleaning this house!!

I am thankful for my wonderful husband and 5 beautiful children!!

From the learning rooms working hard with cody on his letters and reading with Cheyenne

From the kitchen not much going on in there today we are gonna have leftovers tonight ;)

I am wearing a new dark brown, light brown and white shirt from sears and also a new pair of jeans that fit and boy thats a great feeling ( i won a sears gift card online so i got a few things)

I am creating noting right now i am still trying to motivate myself to start the pillowcase dresses thou hopefully soon that will happen!!

I am going to get the kids from school soon

I am reading noting at the moment but i am gonna look on my bookshelf soon and pick something out

I am hoping when chad gets home we get motivated and get this house decluttered

I am hearing kk quietly playing with her animal toys

Around the house is very Christmas- y (is that a word lol)

One of my favorite things a good movie with a big bowl of popcorn and a caffeine free coke lol

A few plans for the rest of the week:declutter, declutter, declutter and maybe a little baking ;)

I am thinking... i wonder when chad and the kids will be back ( they made a quick run to the store)

I am thankful for... my wonderful family

From the kitchen...homemade lasagna yummy

I am wearing... shorts and a cute t-shirt and Caleb hehe

I am creating...ideas for a pillowcase dress for the girls

I am going... to the kitchen table when everyone gets back

I am reading...twilight

I am hoping... they hurry up ;)

I am hearing... drake and josh on TV

Around the house... is looking pretty good we cleaned up some today
